The previous review on this site is has some negative feedback and so I am writing this in defense of what I think was a fantastic purchase. I received it about a week ago and construction seems at least up to par with midrange Sony headphones. These headphones have solved a number of problems for me.
1. I have an HTPC with a bluetooth keyboard and air mouse and I wanted the ability to watch my movies at night without waking up the wife. I don't want another set of headphones with their own proprietary bluetooth transciever. I have a homebuilt Windows 7 PC and these worked fine with the USB transciever that came with my Microsoft keyboard and mouse. The setup directions did not help much and I ended up figuring it out on my own. After adding the device through the bluetooth menu Windows 7 automatically downloaded some Lenovo drivers that were needed to support the headset. After rebooting I saw the a new sound device appear in the sound control panel menu.
The thing that I don't really like about the way it works is really a Windows 7 limitation because it can only output to one audio device at a time. When you turn the headphones on you need to set them as the default audio device and re-start the audio or movie player so it will send output to the new device.
2. I also use this in my office and it allows me to move around without the annoyance of wires. My laptop does not have a bluetooth transceiver and so I use the optional audio to bluetooth converter that comes with the headset.
I have not seen too many other products out there that gives the flexibility of using a 3rd party bluetooth transciever. I would recommend this to people who have a need to work or be entertained without waking up family members. These would probably be nice for a air travel too because of the noise cancellation mode.
note: I have not yet tested the noise cancellation mode.

As an hp employee who's been looking for more features than the world-renowned Bose headphones provides, I was thrilled when I discovered that HP not only made noise-canceling headphones, but that they had all the other features I wanted in such a device.
Granted, it costs a fraction of what the Bose headphones cost, and you get what you pay for...but if you're counting on customer service when the cheap plastic breaks, you get even less.
After only two months of use, the black plastic band that fits over your head started cracking, making the device not only impossibly uncomfortable (instead of a semicircle over your head, think of a sharp 'M' shaped piece of jagged plastic stabbing your scalp), but threatening to break completely with more use thereby becoming completely unusable.
Of course they claim it's not under warranty and, well, what are you going to do? Buy another one, they suggested, after 5 hours on the phone with a support agent somewhere in New Delhi who can't understand me. Yeah Right.
Anyhow, a terrible disappointment that my own company makes such a shoddy and cheap product. Even worse because it has so much potential in its market.
