| Customer Reviews:
Decent bluetooth stereo headphone March 9, 2010 S. Lee (Boston, MA United States) I have been using bluetooth stereo headphones for awhile (few ear bud sony ones).
This one is pretty decent. It is comfortable (but flimsy construction). Sounds decent (bit of a noise leak), pairs well with my iPhone 3G (does not work forward and back track) and my macbook pro. Battery life is excellent so far. I have been using it consistently for about 4 hours every day with nightly charging. So far so good.
Given the price point, it is pretty decent even with all the cons (noise leak, flimsy construction, not all control function working - which is iPhone's fault).
I say if you don't mind the non-ear bud style then give this pair a try.
only option February 25, 2010 TryMyBest (Cedartown, GA) this was a very good price and my only way to listen to my music without everyone else hearing and also good to answer my phone while im listening too.
Works well, not the best sound quality, but for price, is a good value. February 23, 2010 S. Jenks (Palo Alto, CA United States) I received the Sony DR-BT101 Bluetooth headphones yesterday. After charging them from my laptop via USB cable, they immediately worked well with the music player on my Samsung Gravity phone. Pairing them with my computer was a different story though. My computer does not have an internal Bluetooth radio. I purchased a Bluetooth dongle with USB 2.0 compatibility. My computer recognized the headset make and model number and would actually pair with headset. However, no audio would stream to the headset--I kept getting a message from windows saying the driver for headset was not present. I finally discovered the headset would only work with a dongle that ran USB 2.1 with EDR. I went to my local Fry's and purchased the correct dongle. Once installed, the headset works fine.
Overall, sound quality is pretty good. Of course, it depends on the source quality. My HD audio recordings sounded good. A little light on the bass and the highs were a little brittle, but for Bluetooth, not bad. The internal battery seems to have good life so far. Comfort is good and I think the headband is as good as any average headphone set costing under $40. For $38, these headsets are a good value. I will probably buy a second pair for my desktop at work--just make sure your Bluetooth hardware is 2.1 with EDR compatible.
okay... but limited February 19, 2010 Rick The changing track buttons don't work with my music player, just the volume buttons work. The paring button is VERY hard to locate on these headphones, it's almost hidden! If I bend down to tie my shoe, these things slip right off my ears. Also description is a little misleading.
Other than that, good headphone for the price. Though the low price might explain why these aren't that great...
Very ggod product, but never can tell if I charged batteries February 15, 2010 Vinko Buble (Croatia) This is great product, light and comfortable so you can hold them on your head whole day. While listening music quality is satisfactory - not as good as some much more expensive but wired products - and using them as headset quality drops, but are usable. The only downside I found is I cannot tell whether I need to recharge the batteries. I find it out when those are gone and doesn't work any more, and it can be inconvenient if you have an business meeting right now :) So I started to charge them each night, or whenever I remember :)
I strongly recommend this product for anyone who has need for conference call headset and regular listens music. Te be able to get rid of cable for such price is something that makes me tell you: get one!
