Great sound, Durable, Quality headset February 25, 2010 June (Port Charlotte, FL United States) I agree with all the positive things said about this headset, but have found all the issues mentioned in the negative comments to be of little or no consequence. It is the best souding quality bluetooth headset I have ever used. As for the microphone, everyone says my voice is clear and I have a very soft voice. A few have told me that the background noises were loud so it might be a little too sensitive. The phone and volume controls are on the left side and the music controls are on the right, so I don't know why anyone would find them confusing.
I have a Samsung Upstage phone which doubles as an MP3 player. The sound quality when listening to music is outstanding and if I receive a phone call while listening to music it interrupts the music and announces my phone call. When the phone call is finished my music resumes. This also comes with a cord to connect it to non-bluetooth devices. I was pleasantly suprised that when I was listening to a separate MP3 player with the cord and my cell phone rang it also interrupted the MP3 player so that my phone call could be answered. That means no matter what I am listening to with this headset I will not miss my cell phone calls! It comes with a drawstring pouch to store it in and retain its shape with interior pockets to keep the charger and cord together and prevent them from being lost.
When I first used this I was also not crazy about the behind the head design but now I love it. When I bend over it never falls off my head like other headsets. I even feel safe using it while bending over the tub while bathing my grandson. This actually extends the life of the headset because it is seldom dropped. I have gone through two other bluetooth headsets because they fell off my head and broke when they hit the ground or fell in water.
The headset seems to have a very long battery life. Longer than any other bluetooth I have used. The only drawback is that I am not sure it is legal to use them while driving because they cover both ears.
could be better February 10, 2010 Ben Nadler (NM) uncomfortable after an hour of use
volume could be higher
voice dial does not work with HTC ERIS
voice search does not always work
bluetooth interface buggy
great battery life
good sound quality
nice price
Does not work with iPod portion of iPhone December 31, 2009 M. Ace (Portland, OR) Works as advertised with the iPhone. Sound quality is decent for phone calls. However, it does not work as a music player if your music player is an iPhone (I have the original iPhone). Apparently, the iPod portion of the iPhone does not have the A2DP capability, which is required for listening to stereo music. I read all the reviews here before buying, and saw all the positive comments about music playing. I should have dug in a little deeper to learn that these will not play music from the iPhone. Otherwise, they seem OK.
Great Headset but........ October 20, 2009 Johnny Neely (Nashville, Tn United States) this stero headset rocks, i just wish all the buttons worked with 2nd gen ipod touch.
Careful that nothing sits on them - EVER September 24, 2009 one guys opinion (Jacksonville, Florida) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've had these for a while and liked them. If I wear them for more than 30 minutes, the top of my ears against my head hurt. I was willing to put up with that because I liked the wireless aspect, and they sounded good. The ear cushion is great, it's just the weight pushing the rubber shark fin piece against your ears that hurts after a while.
Recently I laid them down at work over the weekend. I guess I laid them down incorrectly, because they are now misshapen. Once that happens, you are out of luck. They will no longer fit against your ears.
So they sound great, but no longer fit. I think the ear pieces are just too heavy and it relies on the plastic head/neck band piece to maintain an exact shape.
Anyway, I am disappointed and will not buy this model again.
